What
is a Lithograph?
In
the artist's presence, a huge 4 color printing press prints the artwork
on
acid free (archival) paper. This
process insures the correct color (as close to the original as possible)
and the quality and longevity of the printed piece.
The Limited
Edition Lithos are numbered. The
first number indicates the order from the press, the second number the
total run.
Once the Lithos are printed, the plates are
destroyed and no more will be made. This increases the ultimate value of
the work and makes it collectible.

What
is a Giclee?
(pronounced Gee-clay)
Giclee prints are the
newest way to make exhibition archival quality prints of artwork. A Giclee
is a French phrase referring to a technology where watercolor paper or
canvas is sprayed with infinitely small pixels of rich, vibrant archival
inks at a very high speed. This method ensures the tonalities of the
original painting and renders an amazingly smooth and consistent image; a
museum quality fine art reproduction; the closest thing to an original.
