The Messiah…
From the discolored mortar oozing from the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem, the ancient Hebrew text of Isaiah 53 appears: “He was despised and rejected… wounded for our transgressions… bruised for our iniquities…” An aged Pharisee ponders the meaning, finally realizing the connection of the scripture’s prophecy to Jesus’ death. In the shadow of the cross he concludes this is, truly, “The Messiah.” (A best-seller)

Fear
Not…
The majesty and power of a visitation by the angel Gabriel is captured in this vivid watercolor. His first words, “Fear not,” calm any heart in need of reassurance, and are inscribed in Greek down the right side of the painting. The name “Gabriel”, meaning “man of God,” is written in Hebrew on his powerful sword… a just reminder that angels are servants of the Most High, just as we are.

His
Bride
The Church-His Bride-holds the keys of the Kingdom.
Awaiting her Bridegroom, she steps out into the darkness without
fear, a dove anointing her head. In
stained glass, the Old Testament book of Hosea displays the church’s
unfaithfulness as depicted through the adulterous character Gomer.
Opposite that, the New Testament culmination of God’s work
expresses Christ’s redemptive love to bring his people into intimacy
with Him. Angelic servants
guard and bless the Bride, watching from above. |
Psalm
23
A peaceful pasture where His sheep can rest and be
restored. One stands with no
fear, having passed through the valley of the shadow of death.
White lilies and a skeleton speak the paradox of God’s truth…
out of death comes life. |

Refreshing…
The glorious refreshment of Christ’s embrace cascades downward as an iridescent waterfall. Even the stones behind it cry out with joy, revealing the promise of Isaiah 53 in Hebrew: “They that wait upon the Lord will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings as eagles.” At the base of the falls, his loved ones dance freely in the downpour of his refreshing renewal as an eagle carries a white lily taken from the water’s edge, symbolizing new life.

Lion
Of Judah…
A powerful, golden mane
dissolving into flames of purifying fire.
A brow crowned with glory. A
sword emanating from his mouth, with eyes reflecting his tenderness and
compassion, encircled by the fragrance and beauty of the rose. The King of
Kings! Lord of Lords! The Lion of Judah! |

Free
Spirit
She is a “free spirit” in her dance, whirling and pirouetting freely before her Lord. She was given the Spirit as a free gift by which she unashamedly celebrates becoming a truly “Free Spirit”.
